This is what I think is the best of all the rolls I have shot. So unagitated, yet so immense. That being said, I am back for good like digested food. Uh.

New job hoorrrayyyyy.
Last friday a guy from a pension consultancy came into the office to pitch the company’s 401(k) arrangement. He was nice enough, and you could tell he had done this thousands of times before (meaning: it was a solid, streamlined presentation with a bulk of info and some rather unfunny, but probably tried and tested jokes, that weren’t too hard to fake a chuckle about). So I sat and listened. And the realization crept in, “this is my career now.” He told me this: if I started saving now, and if I consistently adjusted the amount of money I saved to the inflation and raises, I would end up with a quite decent amount of cash when I retired with 60. He pointed out “That’s 32 years, quite a long time, but it’s never too early to prepare, after all you want to be able to enjoy your retirement.”
I will buy a golden Ferrari.
Today I got a ridiculous job offer.
On top, I told some brazen demands about additional benefits to the HR guy I was talking to, but he was quite good at his job, too.
Anyway it would be the first time in life I’d receive a 13th monthly salary which is very german, but until today I was used to work in companies that follow a more ‘american corporate’ way of operating.
Tim told me to take it. I think I will.
For the whole day I was whistling Ellie Goulding’s ‘Salt Skin’ in the office. I was a bit disappointed that no one recognized it.
